PEOPLE can exclusively premiere the trailer for season 2 of the chilling NBC series, that sees Shanola Hampton's Gabi see her worst nightmare come to fruition.
As the trailer begins, Gabi reveals her harrowing backstory to her colleague, Detective Mark Trent (Brett Dalton): Gabi and Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh) were kidnapped by a man they call Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) when they were children.
They managed to escape, and Gabi later avenged Sir, as she "kept him prisoner in my basement."
Now, Sir has "escaped" from Gabi's clutches — and he's taken from her one of the most important people in her life.
