Good News was a short-lived, and today, somewhat forgotten, television sitcom that aired on the United Paramount Network (UPN, now a part of The CW Television Network and Paramount Global/Viacom) from August 25, , to May 19, Starring actor David Paul Ramsey, and actress and singer Roz Ryan, the TV series followed the often humorous and comedic adventures of a young pastor and minister, named Pastor David Randolph, who moves to the Compton borough of Los Angeles, California to take over a small, fledgling African-American church, in the middle of a crime-infested and gang-infested urban neighborhood.

The series ran for one season with 24 episodes, but was unfortunately canceled and discontinued after the first season wrapped up, because the show didn't meet UPN's rating requirements to continue with a second season.
